Long-Term Care Administrator’s Week: Regina Henderson

March 12, 2025

With 30 years in healthcare, Regina Henderson has dedicated her career to making a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors. Her journey began as a Registered Nurse at Jewish Hospital, where she specialized in acute neuro care for 14 years. She then transitioned into leadership roles, serving 12 years as a Director of Nursing and Nurse Consultant before becoming the Executive Director of Seneca Place for the past three years.

Regina’s passion for senior care was sparked by her personal experience caring for her elderly grandmother. Watching her grandmother navigate the nursing home setting inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare—one where she could be the change she wished to see. “I wanted to help people, and I love the elderly,” she shares.

Even in the face of challenges, Regina remains motivated by the desire to create a better home for seniors. She embraces the complexities of long-term care and takes pride in leading a team dedicated to enriching residents’ lives. The most rewarding part of her role? Seeing the smiling faces of residents and watching care team members grow in their journey.

Thank you, Regina, for your unwavering commitment, leadership, and compassion in long-term care!
